We have a 10-month open programme for managers and leaders in the UK who are ready to lead differently. Starting May 2026.
People don’t leave organisations. They leave managers. And managers don’t lead poorly because they don’t care – they lead poorly because nobody has ever shown them what good looks like and held them to it over time.
The cost shows up in turnover you can’t fully explain, in teams that do the minimum rather than the maximum, and in performance conversations that happen too late.
This is a leadership problem, and it’s fixable.
The Challenge With Development
Meaningful leadership development has traditionally felt out of reach. Full in-house programmes require a significant budget. One-day workshops produce inspiration, not lasting change – Gallup’s research shows 80% of employees remain disengaged, and that figure hasn’t shifted.
So development gets deprioritised. Often for the very people who need it most.
We’ve spent years working with organisations across the world on this. And we’ve learned something consistent: it isn’t the scale of the investment that determines the outcome. It’s the quality of the model and the discipline of the application.
The Programme
The Leadership Excellence Open Programme is built on the Legitimate Leadership Model – applied in over 300 organisations across 30 countries over three decades.
Led by consultant Tony Flannigan, the 2026 programme runs from May 2026 to February 2027. Two days in person at Wyboston Lakes, Bedfordshire to start. Then monthly virtual sessions, six application modules, and a Leadership Assessment at the beginning and end.
Big impact on leadership doesn’t require a big training budget. This programme is designed to prove that.
